There are few occasions when you really feel like having a good food with a good company. And at such instances when the gang is foodie and loves barbecue then the first name that comes to one's mind is Barbeque Nation.

It has number of outlets. We happened to visit the one at Phoenix Market city. Being seafood lover, it was the right time when we visited this place as they had their Seafood festival on.
The ambience was beautifully decorated with staff dressed in sync with the festival. They were extremely courteous.
Please ensure you have prior booking during special occasions to avoid being disappointed. So without wasting any further time, let me jump to the food items that we had.


A) Off the grill
1. Carabian jerk drum stick - This was kind of chicken leg piece. Yummy and juicy.

2. ‎Green Charmula fish - Extremely soft and tasty.

3. ‎Angara Prawns - The size if the prawns were moderate. It was ok kind of dish.
4. ‎Gola Makhana kebab - This was good.
5. ‎Pahadi mushroom - This was a green colored masala fried mushrooms. It tasted good.
6. ‎Fried Corn and corn tikki - These both items were very tasty and crispy exactly how the corns are expected to be.
7. ‎Cajun spice potato - One of the famous item of BBQ Nation, how would it disappoint us.
8. Salad - I picked the corn and Russian salad with some Deviled eggs from the counter. Thumbs up!

9. ‎Masala Coke - Something different excluding the cocktails and mocktails.. It was very nice!

If you think that's all then you better change your mind because there are still lot of items pending in the main course and desserts.
B) On the buffet
1. Soup: Leeks of seafood soup - This was not that great.

2. ‎Squid fry - We hardly got any as I believe it was over. It was just fried without any spices so I didn't like it.
3. ‎Tuna fry - Again this was disappointing as it had a tangy taste than having a spicy one.
4. ‎Veg: Malaysian noodles - This was flat noodles. As it was buffet, I think it was made few hours back which wasn't tasting fresh.

5. Kung Pao vegetables - This was very apt in taste with veggies and perfect in taste.
6. Mutton Rogan Josh - A mutton delicacy was ok in taste.

7. ‎Nelore mixed seafood curry - This was one of the best item that we had. Made out of coconut milk tasted delicious that my mouth is still watering and craving for it.
8. ‎Garlic Naan - We had the above items with freshly served hot Garlic Naan.

Next most awaited meal is the desserts.

1. Angoori Gulab jamun, kesar firni, oreo cheese cake, strawberry pastry - Thumbs up
2. Kulfi & ice cream - Pan & kesar Kulfi tasted good but the syrups were too sweet. Ice creams were fine.

In fact all the desserts were very sweet that one can only eat it if he's fond of having super sweet items.

Except for the grills, I was little disappointed with buffet and desserts. It was a mixed feeling visiting this place.

There's nothing as a perfect gift that we can ever gift our partner as every gift or sweet gesture in itself shows true love, true feelings that comes from within. But then it does make the other feel special when you do something extra-ordinary things.

We have so far seen all the options for Valentines from perfumes to customized/personalized gifts to that of best buys from Amazon which you can gift your loved ones. But above all 'the greatest gift that you can gift is your time, your attention, your love and your concern' ~ Joel Osteen.

Nothing can beat this as all of long for someone who is always there for us. Ups and downs are part and parcel of life. But then having someone with whom you can share your happiness, doubles the joy whereas when you share your sorrow, it reduces.

A little hug, a little smile, a little love

Attention makes one feel how their presence is important in your life. At times, we do get ready in a way that our loved ones notices it and compliments us. When they do that it gives you immense happiness.

Love, It's better I speak less on it as this is something that each one of us feels differently.
Love for some is their partners smile, their happiness, every little thing that they do. Love for some is an unconditional commitment to an imperfect person. Love also could just be a mere word for some until someone comes along and gives meaning to it.

Your concern would make your loved ones feel that you really care. This could be showed even in the smallest gesture - helping your partner with their work, giving a listening ear for them to share their thoughts, problems, taking care of them in every way.

So, here are some tips that you can plan not jus Valentines otherwise too for your special day -
1. Bouquet - Surprise them with some nice bouquet. As it is rightly said, 'A rose speaks of love silently in a language known only to the heart'. So let the flowers create the magic in the beginning.


2. ‎Cook - You can plan to cook something special, something that's his/her favorite. Good food will definitely create good mood.

3. ‎Movie/Theater/Concert - You can go for a nice movie or watch some theater. These days concerts, stand up comedy shows are catching up pace too so you can opt for any. Enjoy with some popcorn, samosa, nachos etc. with cold drink.

4. ‎Shopping/Games - If your partner is a shopaholic then you both can spend time in shopping or go for some games like bowling, pool etc. This will take you back to the old good college days and bring out the kid in you.

5. ‎Long drive - Turn on some nice music head to a beach or lakeside with the best company ever.
