4 Great Food Options for Overcoming Hunger Pangs When Dieting

January 13, 2018 0 Comments
Drinking water from your ceramic water dispenser or another source is a great way to lose weight when dieting. Often, when we feel hungry, we’re actually dehydrated and need a drink of water. This is an easy theory to test yourself, next time you feel hungry, have a glass of water and wait half an hour. If you still feel hungry, you need to eat, but if the hunger has subsided, then you were simply dehydrated. Drinking cold water makes you feel fuller, and this satiates the appetite. However, there are also foods which can help you to overcome hunger pangs when dieting, here are four of them.

1. Choose High in Fibre Foods:

Foods that are high in fibre make us feel fuller for longer, and this can help to naturally suppress your appetite. The more common choices would be potatoes, grains, and beans. However, some people are unaware that foods, such as nuts, apples, pears and leafy vegetable, are also very high in fibre. Eating fibre will help to kill off any craving for sugar, and the fibre will swell up when you drink water to make you feel full again.

2. Don’t Skip a Healthy Breakfast:
Don't skip breakfast!

After sleeping all night, your blood sugar levels are already low, and this will create hunger pangs. Skipping breakfast will only exacerbate these feeling and should be avoided. Allow plenty of time in the morning to have breakfast before you leave the house for the day. Eating a high fibre fortified cereal will do the trick, with a glass of juice to drink.

3. Go Spicy:

Salads
Eating spicier foods is a great and simple way to encourage weight loss. Some of the best options include tabasco sauce, hot peppers, curry powder, garlic, and cumin. These foods, boost your metabolism, they raise the levels of epinephrine and norepinephrine in your body, which in turn help to suppress your appetite naturally.

4. Eat Plenty of Salads:

The humble salad is a great option for filling you up, as long as you don’t coat them with fatty dressing. Leafy greens are very high in fibre as we discussed above and salads are low in fat. Avoid oil based vinaigrettes, as an alternative, grind flaxseeds up and sprinkle them over the salad for taste. Flaxseeds are rich in Omega 3 and also high in fibre as well.

Healthy Living

The world has always been secretive and yet exposed on so many levels. Levels which are used as information but never kept. As a result, many people suffer from various diseases and illnesses which are not that apparent from the beginning, but manifest later in their life. Now, living in this modern era, we have been engulfed and interested in many creations and inventions specifically when it comes to food. We have cakes, beverages, extravagant appetizers, fried chicken, beef steaks, donuts and other sophisticated yet enigmatic foods. We can agree that these foods are delicious, but how about the health content? Does it have benefits in life?

Many people don’t care about foods that have high acidity or contain bad elements that may produce chronic disease, pain, stress, fatigue, depression and emotional breakdown. This is because they are so fond of eating and following a simple motto "You only live once! YOLO".

Way of living
As a result, many people die not only because of poverty or being killed in an accident. More and more incurable diseases have spread rampant across the globe due to unhealthy living. However, this does not mean that all these delicious cuisines are forbidden. A balance diet is necessary to maintain a healthy life.

Where Do You Want To Be In Your Life?

January 13, 2018 0 Comments
Have you ever thought about where you want to be in your life? And if so how are you planning on getting there. It must start with setting those goals.

I am going to tell you the more important that the end result is for you, the more likely that you will get there. Now did this make sense to you?

Where do you want ti be in your life?
Let’s go over it here for you. This is something that you want to accomplish in your life, perhaps it is something that you want or maybe someone that you want to help.

The first thing that you will want to do is set that first goal, then keep yourself accountable for it. Focus on where you want to be. Don’t focus on your problems? All that matters is the act of taking action.

You always want to keep moving forward, not backwards. Your brain is focused on the path of least resistance, it will challenge change. You are going to need to program it to do things differently. So keep focused on that end result all the time, then you will see things on the past to your success. The answers will show up.

Now that you know what you want, you need to get ready, don’t let fear stop you from getting where you want to be in your life, "Your goals!"

If it is fear that is stopping you, then you need to identify this and overcome it. Your goals are just something that you have to work on, something that you have to do.

Here is something I would like to share with you all today; I received this in an e-mail from one of my team member’s.

"This is what I'm "gonna do" for a living to support my family. This is what I love to do and there is nothing that will stop me from success, nothing could make me quit, I'm dedicated 100%, the words I Can't or I Won't don't exist in my vocabulary. I have a 2 year old daughter, her name is Peyton Elizabeth and she is my whole world. Personal Growth/Self Development are my passion and my purpose. I love to help other people to realize who they are, to find themselves and what they really want in life and out of life, then show them there is nothing that's impossible if they just believe."

A clear set goal and now he is on his way to getting where he wants to be in his life. I am hoping that you all get the picture with this article that I am sharing with you and start setting those goals to help you get where you want to be in your life.

If you are having a problem, reach out to someone who can help you, do not be afraid to ask for help. There are so many people, like myself who care about your future and the well being of you and your family members.

Always keep focused on the end result and take the right actions to get you there. Start believing in yourself, you and you alone are responsible for what you do with your life. And setting those goals is the first step.

How to reach your goal?

January 13, 2018 0 Comments
Most people perform better when they are heading toward a goal. But it is important to understand that the goals must motivate. If your goals leave you feeling inadequate, stressed out, or over-worked, then you will lack the motivation to complete them.

Set your goals
Goals that motivate have specific characteristics:

* Clarity - Clear goals are specific, measurable, actionable, realistic, and time-bound (SMART). When a goal is clear and specific, people know what needs to be done and what is expected.

* Challenge - We are often motivated by achievement, so we'll judge a goal by how difficult we perceive it to be. If it is too easy, we won't give it as much attention and energy. However, if it demands us to stretch ourselves in order to achieve the recognition of a job well done, we are more likely to be motivated to excel.

* Commitment - For goal setting to be effective, the goals need to be agreed upon and understood. While this doesn't mean you negotiate every goal with every employee, there is value in engaging the people working towards the goal in crafting it. When we help to create the stretch goal, we are more connected to the challenge and more willing to commit. The harder the goal, the more commitment is needed.
Improve your skills

* Task Complexity - For goals that are highly complex, we have to not only give people sufficient time to meet the goal, but actually provide the time to practice or learn skills that are necessary for success. The purpose of goal setting is successful achievement, so you have to be careful that the conditions around the goal support that success rather than stifle it.

* Feedback - Incorporating feedback into the goal setting process allows for expectations to be clarified, difficulty to be adjusted, and recognition given. In particular, when a goal is long-term in nature, it's important to set benchmarks that help people gauge their success and see their achievement.

Once the goals are defined, each goal should be "drilled down" with specific objectives and measures. Objects can be thought of as the yardstick; measures can be thought of as the exact location on the yardstick of each goal area; and both short-term and long-term objectives and measures should be defined.

When determining your objectives and measures it can be helpful to ask, "How will we know when this goal is achieved?" "What, exactly, will be different around here when the goal is attained?"

I appreciate this simple statement from Sir Edmund Hillary: "You don't have to be a fantastic hero to do certain things - to compete. You can be just an ordinary chap, sufficiently motivated to reach challenging goals."

Zaffran - Trendy Indian Dining

January 06, 2018 0 Comments
I visited Zaffran located on the 1st floor in R city with my colleagues on the last working day of the year 2017 so our prime focus was good food with good company. One of my colleagues made excellent arrangements and booked this place for us with good discount.

As soon as we entered, we were pretty impressed with the ambiance. It looked nice with good seating arrangements. Since we were super hungry, we ordered the below things and were waiting patiently for the food to arrive.
Drinks
Sangria & Kacchi kairi margarita
1. Sangria - We tried the red sangria. It was chilled, good with nice fruits in it.
2. Kacchi kairi margarita - Totally refreshing and best in taste. With the presentation, it looks more classy & sassy ;)

Food
A) Starters -
1. Masala Papad - Until our main orders would reach us, we ordered masala papad. It was nice, cruncy.
2. Chicken Tandoori - It wasn't that great. Not much tasty or juicy like how tandoori should ideally be.
3. Mutton Galouti Kebab - 5 star! It was the best of all that we ordered. Highly impressed & recommended. The mutton kebab was very tasty. It had a small paratha under the kebab. I would love to visit this place again especially for this dish.
Mutton Galouti & Afghani Murgh Tikka

4. Afghani Murgh Tikka - This was good but nothing can beat the galouti kebab.

B) Main Course -
1. Murgh musallam - This dish has good quantity and tastes good. I prefer order half if you are less in number else go for full which would serve a group of 8 members.
2. Butter chicken - If you don't want to experiment then you should go ahead with this dish.
3. Egg curry - It was just wow. Spicy, tasty and mouth watering.
4. Butter roti/naan/kulcha - For the above gravies, we ordered all these and were not at all disappointed.
5. Jeera rice - The quantity was ok. It was good.

C) Dessert - Both the sweet dishes that were ordered were paisa vasool.
1. Phirni - Kesar Pherni tasted like heaven. Even the one's who said no to sweets were having it again.
2. Gulab jamun - It was hot and presented in a nice container. Though for me, it was too sweet.

I would highly recommend this place as it served very tasty food. Overall we had a good experience and were satisfied :)

New Years resolution

January 05, 2018 0 Comments
Every time a new year kick starts, our lost hope of a goal that was not achieved comes to our mind first. But before that the first question that needs to be answered is whether you believe in having a new resolution or not? The moment, the answer is NO! You have lost half the battle for all those who have already given up even before trying.

Even for those who still have some ray of hope then you should get started without any second thought.
What's your new year resolution?

Because it's YOU who can bring the change that you want to see. I would suggest you to start with smaller goals. Forget about the past, what could not be achieved? You have today & tomorrow in your hand so bring about the change.

Here are few goals that you can choose -

Resolution#1 - Better version of yourself
1. Be Better than last year - The first focus should be on yourself because if you are doing well mentally & physically - you can give the best to the world. So, take out time from your busy schedule in order to be fitter and better. Indulge yourself with some activities like yoga, exercise or jogging. Also the most important factor being your good health so have proper, healthy meal. So, make a promise to yourself to treat yourself well towards a healthier life.
Set your personal and professional goals separately so you know how you need to improve yourself wherever you were lagging to become a better version of yourself.

More resolutions!
2. Focus on what makes you happy - Take up on an adventure, go for solo/group trips with family/friends. Try to create memories as these would last lifetime. This would help you find who you truly are! And don't forget like I say, 'When you dies with good memories.'
(Want to know more on Why should you travel?)

3. Spend time with Family and Friends - We don't know what tomorrow will bring forth us. So, try to make time for your near and dear ones. There is no use of lots of money if you don't have family besides you when you are unwell nor there's any point if you don't have friends to have fun with. So, live in the moment and realize the value of spending time with family and friends at the right time.

4.  Charity for the society - Pay back time! You should give something back to the society whether it be your service, time or money. We should  always thank God for where we are as there are many others who don't have a roof to protect themselves nor proper food to fill their stomach neither do they have someone who loves, cares or protects them. So why not do a bit of our share & give back some love, some care to the world. Such that our world becomes a better place to live for not only humans but also animals.

DREAM IT. WISH IT. DO IT. You'll feel better once you start gaining your short term goals & once you are confident start aiming for the long terms goals because for those who believe in themselves, "Sky is the limit!"
