December it is!

Most wonderful time of the year

I believe December to be the most wonderful time of the year like others. As a kid, who is from a convent school - December was always a month full of joy, fun and happiness.

The month where there was less stress because of less homework, Christmas party, Santa Claus & of course the happy holidays. 

Happy Time

I carried the same when I entered college with the crowd buzzing with days, festivals, competitions, lots of socializing during this time. Meeting new people has always been the most exciting thing and shopping for the new year eve is another thing that adds to the happiness. 

People usually around are happier too as they don't have their bosses yelling, shouting for targets, results instead this time of the year brings a lot of care, love & team bounding activities like team outings, lunches/dinners, games such as Secret Santa etc. To some it is also that time of the year where they get bonuses, promotions. People have better understanding for each other.

The climate is also cooler in most of the parts across the globe to that of the scrotching heat that gets them annoyed, irritated.

The decorations for the Xmas and New Year just like Diwali adds to the beauty of the surroundings. Malls, Shops etc. are all decorated beautifully. Since this is the last month of the year, people are willing to do lot more than what they couldn't throughout the year. They try to spend more time with their near & dear ones whereas others catch up on their bucket list. This could comprise of travelling to different places or catching up on some hobby. Others also feel like doing some charity and brining a smile to few faces.

Merry Christmas

This is that time of the year where most of the people celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. If you know any catholic family then I think it is the right time for you to hop in as guests to their house and taste some mouth watering sweets like Bebinca, Nevri, Doss etc. 

We have friends and families coming down from places to enjoy the vacation mode with parties and reunions. It is also that time where cupid strikes the love birds and love blooms for a few. I don't know about you guys but presents for me adds to the happiness. It is the perfect time that makes you crave for lot of food without worrying about the weight because you have the new year resolution next coming up to compensate for the gain. So, why not worry less and be a cute lil mess!
